1000 tons of water was distributed

The war and drought disaster in Yemen continues, with approximately 3.9 million people affected by drought. Millions of Yemenis are experiencing increased difficulty in accessing clean water and food. Our association, which has increased its aid efforts in Yemen, has started the "Emergency Food Aid Project". Within the framework of this project, approximately 1000 tons of water has been distributed and food packages have been delivered to around 400 families so far.

Emergency Aid Continues to be Required

Due to severe drought conditions, more than 200,000 people have migrated to the city centers within the country. According to the United Nations data, 2.3 million children under the age of 5 in the country are at risk of acute malnutrition. In the country where hundreds of people have lost their lives due to severe drought, it is estimated that 10 million Yemenis will need humanitarian aid in 2022.
